About Me
Hi! My name is Linsey Klug and I'm a fourth-year majoring in Environmental Studies at the University of Cincinnati, with a minor in Marketing. I've lived in Cincinnati my entire life, and for most of it I was sheltered from our world's greatest challenges. When I went to Jamaica my junior of high school, I experienced firsthand the environmental destruction and poverty in developing countries. I felt guilty for being so isolated from the major climate and social issues today, but also felt a responsibility to do my part and help. I am so passionate about the issues of climate change, human rights and growth of developing countries, and I am so excited to have a career focused on this. I've recently become passionate about the sustainability initiatives of large corporations, especially those that use their influence in the business sector for good. I worked as a Marketing Sustainability Associate at JBM Packaging, where I led environmental strategies to transition the company to be carbon neutral. It's been so fulfilling having a direct positive impact on Cincinnati, and I'm so excited to dedicate my time and energy to this amazing university and beautiful city in an effort to make a systemic change for our environment!
